A special thanks

One last Christmas post......
Some amazing gifts were given this past Christmas and two were quite amazing! My sweet brother bought the girls a playset and my amazing in-laws bought them a trampoline. The girls were beyond excited & happy about both!!! We have enjoyed endless hours outside and are so thankful!
Thanks so much "Uncie B" and "Poppa & Gangie!" :)

Santa Claus (finally) came to town

Santa was a bit delayed this year because my sweet hubby had to work. We explained to Mady Blayke that sometimes the sleigh and reindeer have difficulty getting around in lots of snow but we assured her that he WAS coming. She was very patient and understandable. Sweet girl.

Leaving milk, cookies, and a jingle bell for Santa. Heading outside to spread the magic dust with dad.
(Ashlan fell asleep : / )

Some assembly required...............

For our sweet Madysan
A Barbie Dream House with Barbies, a sparkly pony, some books, a doctor set, a few mermaids for the bath, and of course, dress-up clothes!

For our amazing little Ashlan
My Little Pony set, Dora doll with twins, some blocks, books, and a Princess & the Frog doll.

The girls were thrilled!!

Stockings are always fun! The each got a few lipglosses and play make-up

We had a wonderful Christmas!!

Merry Christmas

Christmas time at Mom & Rod's is always great! We've all had PLENTY of "Christmas food" so we opt for something different and do personalized pizzas. Each person gets to decorate their own crust with a variety of choices........two different kinds of cheeses, bell peppers, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, garlic, sausage, olives, jalapenos, pizza sauce, and more.

We even got the girls in their little aprons to help us out!

Mom and I had a great time in the kitchen. We decided to make up our own dessert. Vanilla oreos dipped in melted white chocolate and rolled in chopped pecans.

We enjoyed being together (I only wish my hubby could have been there!), visiting, and watching the girls open their gifts.

The girls got some great new things! We all spent the night which was super fun and made me feel like a kid again. We woke up to Chocolate Toast breakfast (recipe coming sometime later. It is the best.thing.ever.) and sang Happy Birthday to Jesus.
